While doing research I realized most people have no idea what a brand strategist does and how one can help with their business."Brand" has become a fad word thrown around and many people have their own definition of what branding really is. I’m excited to share with you how I help my clients and what brand strategy really looks like.
For starters, what is a brand, anyway?
Your brand is the way people view your business and how they feel about your business. It’s the emotions, thoughts, and feelings people get from any interaction with you or your business. Branding is all about perception. Someone’s perception of your business affects their decision in what they will pay for your services and how credible they think your business is. Strategic branding involves doing everything you can to control how your business is perceived by others.
What is a Brand Strategist?
A brand strategist considers how your product or service is perceived in the market. A brand strategist also considers how to best position your business as the only option. In other words, my job is to help you dominate in your industry.
I take my clients through a series of steps that help us fuse together their story, brand voice, personality, differentiators, and other aspects of their brand in a way that helps them connect with their audience.
As a brand strategist, I also help my clients see their business through the eyes of the consumer. It’s easy to create content and copy that we love! But what about the things our ideal clients need to read and hear from us? This is so important to consider when the goal is to solidify that we are the answer to their problems. Many businesses have similar colors, fonts, logos, etc. but what makes you, YOU? A great brand strategist will help you determine your differentiators and use them to your advantage.
You can’t create booming brand awareness without a brand message and strategy that showcases your vision, values, brand personality, and value.
